We design our furniture to be flexible. If you move to a larger living space, you don't have to buy new furniture. King furniture will change and adapt to your lifestyle. – David King

King furniture is designed to adapt your lifestyle, today, tomorrow and years into the future.

Furniture for life

There’s a lot to consider when you’re choosing furniture. And quality furniture is an investment. You want pieces that work for the way you live now and in the future. King understands that life happens, families grow, people move, lifestyles evolve and tastes change. Designed with flexibility in mind, King furniture will change and adapt to your lifestyle. Unlike ordinary furniture, King allows you to move the components around to suit your space.

Modular Components

In 1998, the fully modular Delta revolutionised flexible living - with components that could be arranged into endless configurations to suit any space, from compact apartments to large, open plan living areas. The flexibility of the modular design was such a drawcard that in 2007 Vanity Fair ordered 173 different Delta II components to seat celebrities at their famed Oscar Party.

Today, King sofas take flexible living to the next level. Tool-free components allow arms, backs shelves, tables and accessories to be moved around with ease. A left-facing chaise can change to right-facing. A modular sofa becomes a double bed. Seat heights can be adjusted, as can the angle of backs and armrests. Integrated space-saving storage and smart accessories offer even more options.

Flexibility in Design

Flexible living doesn't just apply to King sofas. King designs every piece with flexibility and longevity in mind. The Issho dining table features four fins that can be reconfigured to transform the structure's sense of volume and space, striking the perfect balance between a sculptural art form and everyday usability. King Sleep+ revolutionises how we think about sleep with mattresses that can be customised to suit your sleeping style. The award-winning Eto desk, the first in the world to offer integrated power with interchangeable lighting and charging accessories, gives you craftmanship and flexibility for a streamlined home office space.

Sustainable Design

Flexibility and sustainability go hand in hand, and sustainability sits at the centre of everything King does. Flexible living is about furniture that adapts to your lifestyle. Quality furniture built to last, not destined for landfill. King sofas, armchairs, dining chairs and beds come with removable covers giving you the flexibility to update rather than replace your furniture. Modular designs can be packed and transported efficiently, reducing carbon emissions.

Since 1977 King has created purposeful and timeless Australian design. Furniture that marries the power of innovation with traditional handcrafted methods, designed to adapt to our changing lives and last for generations.
